Privacy
Learning stays on your device.
This policy covers KidKode, which appears as Kode on your device, and explains what happens when a parent or guardian contacts support.
Last updated: October 25, 2026
The short version
KidKode does not collect or send personal information to the developer through the app. There are no accounts, advertisements, analytics services, or in-app purchases. Lessons work offline.
Information saved in the app
Completed lessons, stars, and sound and narration preferences are saved locally so your child can continue learning. KidKode does not ask for a child's name, email, location, photos, or microphone access.
There is no developer-managed account or cloud progress service. The developer cannot access your child's locally saved progress through the app.
Spoken instructions
Instructions are read aloud using Apple's installed system voices. KidKode does not record your child's voice.
Clearing progress and local data
Use Reset all progress in Grown-up Settings to clear completed lessons and stars. This keeps your sound and narration preferences.
Deleting the app removes its local data. Device backups, including any restoration of app data, are managed by your Apple settings.
When you email support
A parent or guardian can contact contact@vetan.us. When you send an email, your email address, message, and any attachments are received separately from the app and used to respond to your request.
Please do not include your child's personal information. Remove names, photos, and other identifying details from screenshots before sending them.
You can request deletion of your support correspondence by emailing the same address. Support emails are separate from progress stored on your device; deleting one does not delete the other.
Apple services and settings
Apple manages App Store transactions, device backups, and any system diagnostics you choose to share under Apple's own privacy settings and policies. Those services are separate from KidKode's local lesson and progress features.
